In a bid to keep his mother-in-law Audrey quiet, he set fire to her house. And when Maxine caught him trying to murder Emily Bishop, he took a crowbar to her head. He made his exit from the cobbles in 2003 when he droveGail Platt, played by Helen Worth, and her family into the canal. They survived, but he didn’t.
Taking to X - formerly known as Twitter - fans are anticipating a reunion, as one said: "A Little Mo and Lynne mention that they’re heading to the caravan - Slater reunion on the cards?"

Braid's final scenes saw her character killed off, after dying of aortic aneurysm. The decision to kill off Nana was criticised by fans and critics, who did not see why she had to be written out of the series, simply because Richie had announced his departure.
Jake and his brother, Danny were the second cousins of Spencer and Alfie Moon. Jake, the sensitive brother, had an eye for the ladies - Chrissie and Carly Wicks to name a few. Fortune favours the brave. His livewire brother was always a liability and nearly got Jake killed on several occasions.
Kat leaves Andy, and she and Alfie marry on Christmas Day. Alfie later borrows money from Andy which he is unable to repay, so Andy threatens to kill him unless Kat has sex with him. A reluctant Kat does so, but unbeknownst to her Andy films the liaison and sends it to Alfie.
Happiness was short-lived when Alfie's debts caused Kat to turn to her ex-fiancé, gangster Andy Hunter (Michael Higgs), for money - and Andy agreed as long as she had sex with him. When Alfie learned the truth, their marriage imploded.

The following month, Linda learns via her solicitor that Janine has pleaded guilty. In May 2023, Linda hears the court has sentenced Janine to five years imprisonment, and in June 2023, Ricky calls The Queen Vic to tell Linda that Janine has given birth to Mick's son in prison.
Spencer is arrested and spends New Year's Eve in prison. In his final appearance, Spencer infuriates Alfie by telling Jake and Danny about his history with Andy Hunter (Michael Higgs). Off-screen, Alfie sends him to live with another cousin Maxwell (Andrew Paul) in Australia to keep him out of trouble.

In March 2006, Danny's character arc ended during the Get Johnny Week storyline, when he attempts to kill Sam's brothers Phil (Steve McFadden) and Grant (Ross Kemp) on Johnny's orders - only to be accidentally killed by Jake after the latter discovered the truth about Dennis' murder.
How many kids does Alfie Moon have? He has three biological children: twins Bert and Ernie with Kat, and Cherry with Kat's cousin Hayley Slater (Katie Jarvis). He adopted Tommy and is the stepdad of Kat's daughter Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) and ex-wife Roxy Mitchell's (Rita Simons) daughter Amy Michell (Ellie Dadd).

Chris Clenshaw, EastEnders executive producer, said the show was “absolutely delighted” to have Laila back.
Kat and Alfie have always been toxic and awful together too - they've both cheated on each other, Alfie burned down their flat while Kat was inside for insurance money, Alfie told Kat on Christmas Day she deserved to be raped by her uncle as a kid before trying to abduct his own daughter he doesn't bother inquiring ...
2004-2006. Freddie was conceived in late 2003 when his mother, Little Mo Mitchell, was raped by her friend, Graham Foster. Her refusal to abort the child caused the break-up of her marriage to Billy Mitchell.
